Book presentation
First published in 2015, Guía Goeritz brings together more than forty public works by Mathias Goeritz in Mexico. In 2026, Proyectos Públicos and Arquine give the publication new life with a second edition marking the relocation of the monumental sculpture Los amantes (1958) to the public square at Atlantis in Mexico City. Edited by David Miranda and Christian del Castillo, the guide offers a fresh opportunity to explore the relationship between art, architecture and the city. Through texts and photographs, it traces Goeritz's legacy and the imprint his work has left on public space. The edition was produced with the support of Goethe-Institut Mexiko, with whom Proyectos Públicos builds connections through culture and collaboration.
